怪人怪事錄音誌的阿翔終於如願請到第一位特別來賓，他是一位影視現場收音師，而這篇他要用現場收音常用的Sound Device 788t來介紹一些常見的接頭和基本的配線觀念。廢話不多說，讓我們開始吧！
今天來說說接頭的配線
我們先來看看在台灣目前市面上算是常用（應該算是性價比相對好的）攜帶式錄音機Sound Devices 788T（以下簡稱788T） 的各種接頭吧！

1.XLR Analog Inputs Channels

先來說說幾個名詞吧
一、XLR這是什麼？ 這也就是我們一般俗稱的Canon頭（也有人叫佳能頭或是卡農頭）這得記一下，哪天到大陸去或是到國外去，很不幸的就是得修線的時候，這些名詞就派得上用場了，麻煩大家千萬千萬千萬（很重要，所以說三次）把這些接頭的名稱記好，而且XLR這種接頭是有不同針腳數的，我常用的當然是3-PIN啦，不過也是有4-PIN、5-PIN的。
二、Active-balanced這個是個複合字，就是Active ＋ balanced，主動＋平衡。所以告訴我們說，這個接頭是主動平衡式的接頭。平衡、非平衡在其他的章節應該有解釋過了，這邊就不再多說。但是，要注意的是絕大部分專業錄音器材上的接頭都是平衡式的，因為這樣可以避免很多外界的干擾，例如說手機的電磁波、廣播電臺的訊號。不要笑喔，這很重要，本人就曾經在台中水湳機場工作的時候，從麥克風裡聽到隱隱約約的廣播聲，不是因為用了非平衡式的接法，而是線材的屏蔽性不夠好，很恐怖，一度我還以為我幻聽，該退出這一行了。還找了現場的老外收音師確認了很多次，才找到問題的來源。
三、microphone-level
& line-level意思是這個接頭可以使用兩種不同的訊號等級。通常microphone-level用在直接接麥克風。line-level用在設備與設備之間的訊號傳輸。舉例來說，從MIXER到788T就應該會是line-level。
四、PIN，針腳的意思。PIN-1就是針腳1號。一般來說標準的XLR都是有三個針腳的。ground的意思是地面、大地，這裡的用法是接地，大多數的電器都是需要接地的，以避免突然來的雷擊或是電流不穩定的時候機器的損壞。PIN-2(+)的意思就是針腳2號要接正極。
在788T上的這四個接頭是母的（公母有的時候很難分，簡單說的話，就是沒針腳的是母的，有針腳的是公的），在這裡788T上的這四個接頭都是母的，所以我們需要使用公頭才能接。
再往後看第二項TA3接頭，也有人叫迷你佳能頭。這就是另一個令人討厭的地方了，這裡的TA3是公的！所以我們得要找母的才能接。

2) TA3 Analog Outputs 1-4 Active-balanced, analog outputs 1-4. Program source
and attenuation lev- els are user selectable. Pin-1 ground, pin-2 (+), pin-3 (–). When
connecting to an unbalanced input, do not connect pin-3.
3) FireWire 800 (IEEE-1394b) Port Connection to a computer (Mac OS, Windows) to access
the internal hard drive and CompactFlash volumes as mass storage devices. Also
used to at- tach external FAT32-formatted FireWire drives to the 788T for
direct recording and copying.

This BNC is used to connect an exter- nal video sync or word clock reference signal for word clock purposes. Accepts NTSC, PAL, and Tri-level video syncs as well as word clock rates between 32 kHz and 48.048 kHz.

Accepts power from 10–18 volts DC to power and charge the Li-ion battery. Hirose 4-pin connector is wired pin-1 negative (-), pin-4 positive (+). Pin-2 and pin-3 are not connected. Charging char- acteristics are set in the Setup Menu.

這一側就更複雜了，各式各樣不同的接頭。不怕，我們只要記住幾個重點就可以。
INPUT指的是輸入，也就是訊號或是聲音是從這裡進來的。
OUTPUT指的是輸出，訊號或是聲音是從這裡出去的。
所以呢第2、6、8、9、10，這些區塊都是輸出用的。只是類別不同。
第2是單聲道的平衡式輸出。
第6是同步訊號用的輸出。
第8是耳機的輸出，也就是讓你接耳機的啦，這裡有兩個接頭，可以接mini-phonejack以及phonejack兩種不同尺寸的耳機接頭，當然，這都是立體聲的。
第9是mini-phonejack的非平衡式輸出。
第10是平衡式的數位訊號輸出。
我們可以注意到mini-phonejack以及phonejack的部分，接點的分別不是用PIN來分。它是用Tip、Ring、Sleeve來區分的。Tip = left, ring = right, sleeve = ground.這串英文的意思是說，尖端Tip是左聲道，環ring是右聲道，sleeve是接地。
再來我們來看看788T說明書的附錄裡，有一個部分是非常重要的，一定要看得懂。大部分專業的錄音設備都會有這樣的一個部分，告訴大家線要怎麼焊。
看起來有很可怕嗎？都是英文，所以有點難度？不要怕，對照一下上面的說明，就可以搞懂。
再來說說，複合式的線的接法。
一般市面上可以買到的標準音源線，裡面只有正負兩極加上編織網或是絕緣錫箔組成的。
長的大概就是像上面那兩張圖啦。
複合式的線長什麼樣子？
就像上面這樣子啦。這上面就有八芯，意思是我們使用它的話，可以得到四個平衡式的單聲道。當然地線是可以共用的。
舉個例我有兩支麥克風，一般來說，我們需要兩條XLR公頭對母頭的線材才可以同時使用這兩支麥克風。但是，如果我很懶就只想要用一條線呢？有可能做到嗎？
當然是可以囉，這時候，用的線就不能是一般的線，就得用到複合的線材。
給兩支麥克風用的話，我們可以找四芯的音源線。由於地線是可以共用的。所以，我們需要用到兩個XLR公頭、兩個XLR母頭、兩個XLR-5PIN公頭、兩個XLR-5PIN母頭。
所以接線的方式就會向是上面這樣啦，上圖左邊是接麥克風，上圖右邊是接機器。
配線的方式其實大概就是這麼簡單。
